Mix: Cross Country Road Trip

Music is pretty important to both of us. In fact, we met on a random Wednesday night a few years ago at a small concert for some obscure Finnish band that ended up playing an after show at my apartment until 4 in the morning. Younger times.

Today, James is the one of us who has more obscure taste in music, but he does always know of the new band or song before anyone else. While we were driving cross country, we went back and forth between podcast and music. The Spotify playlist below spans the breadth of our musical taste and mood during the trip. It features songs from the Romeo + Juliet CD ( yes, a CD) that we found in the move, some songs that remind us of when we met ( shout out to Gil-Scott Heron w/ Jamie XX), classic road trip songs, and some that we picked up in random Spotify lists along the way.
